On Monday 26th September the Children from Brayford Academy took part in the Great Brayford Apple Bake off. The children made cakes, biscuits and other apple treats using apples from our very own apple tree. The entries were judged by the teachers anonymously and two winners from each class were chosen. Entries were then sold at the end of the day in order to raise money for Edukid, a local charity who we work alongside to support a young girl's education in Cambodia. All the staff were overwhelmed with the amazing number of entries from both the Infants and the Juniors and Mrs Ward and Mrs Maidment had a wonderful day trying them all - what an array of baking talent we have at Brayford Academy!
